Josette Wolf, Pyrographic Artist
My little journey of Wood Burning, also known as Pyrography, was an accumulation of life event's gone awry. I have always had a love & interest for the arts. Over my primary school years, I have taken many art classes. Following school, both my husband and I continued to take classes together, as well as my continued home created projects and self taught (sometimes trial and error) skills.

My family has a number of talented artists in it's midst. My sister is an art major and presently, art teacher. My Aunt Josette (yes, I am her proud namesake!) was always an avid artist herself in many different mediums, as well as a teacher. Following her passing I was bequeathed all of her art supplies. This is where her pyrography tools come into play!

In 2017 my husband had an accident that left him unable to work and get around for some time. While my husband was unable to do anything, I found my place of peace and getaway working on honing my latest wood burning art skill. I was simply playing around with some fun ideas and creations, posted what I had made on social media. Before I knew it, people were loving the pieces and placing personalized orders and giving me new ideas and artistic freedom and Burning Wolf Designs was born.
